How I converted my car from gas to electric
To couple the 9 inch ADC electric motor to the transmission I needed to go from a 1 and 1/4 inch keyed shaft to a splined shaft on the transmission.
So I took an old clutch plate and ground the rivets off,
Turned off the rest of the piece till I could turn the OD to the 1 and 1/4 inch to fit a coupling I got from McMaster Carr...
One and One quarter inch on each side...Keyed...
